tripping eyes, and flooded lungs northern downpour sends its love A time and a place for it. Ha Lucy really was beginning to lose her mind in her old age. Did she really believe that a boy whose entire existence was so hell bent on creating music for the rest of his life was going to listen to that sort of nonsense. It wasn't like he'd even done anything all that outrageous and she'd been down his throat about his music playing once more. It had been just after arriving home from school and ended up hitting the button on his alarm clock when putting his backpack down next to the bed. Next thing he knew he was diving onto the bed to shut off the beginnings of a Beatles song as the chords started to move from the speakers. The volume hadn't even gotten that loud when he'd turned it off. It had been too late though. Moments later the stocking covered legs of Lucy Patterson were standing in his doorway and she was holding a whisk in her hand. To most anybody this site would probably put them to tears on the floor, but Parker knew that it was bad news if she'd left her eggs sitting in a bowl unwhisked, oh what a horrible disaster it was to not whisk those eggs. Anyways, she'd gone ahead telling him that she didn't want to hear his music right now and that he should be off doing something productive with his life, like mowing the lawn.
Her blabber went on much longer then he would ever like to listen, but he did and as soon as she'd left his doorway he had risen up. Now, whether she expected he was indeed going to mow the lawn or not was a mystery to him, but that wasn't the plan at all. Instead he'd grabbed his iPod out of his backpack and started down the street. The buds were pressed into his ears and he just walked letting the music flow through his ears the moment they were fixed into place. The sound was more then enough to calm him down a bit, but that didn't mean he was any less annoyed with his grandmother. It seemed that every little thing he did ended up with him getting told it wasn't the time. It was only time to be doing work at her house and it was never time for fun. Heck, even when any of his friends were over things were that way. She acted that way around Rupert and Jay who were two of his closest friends around here. It was funny though since she seemed to like Jay a lot since he was so quiet. Alas, Parker was simply trapped in a place where if he didn't follow the rules he was going to have his entire way of life bitched about over and over again. It truly was almost more then he could bare.
From the moment he'd moved into the house he'd felt himself being slowly pulled away upon. It was truly becoming harder and harder for him to live there without feeling like he was going to end up dying from the clotting of his creative juices. One day though, he knew he'd be free of it, off on his own or well, with the people he was closest to just touring the country. That was his dream and would always be.
A hand ran through his hair and it wasn't long until he looked around finding himself in the first place that he ever visited upon moving here. His eyes moved around the familiar area causing a smile to grace his features. The iPod was immediately paused and shut off before being slipped into the pocket of the bright blue sweatshirt that he was wearing at that very moment in time. The same beat up converse that he wore every day of his life beat against the ground gently as he looked around the familiar streets smiling slightly as he turned and headed into one of his favorite cafes. The familiar sound of the bells jingled over his head as he stepped up to the counter. He ordered a hot chocolate and moved to one of the tables looking around a bit.

i can keep a secret if you can keep me guessing, the flavor of your lips is enough to keep me pressing.
Right Rupert needed to stop being weird. he really did, he was freaking the contienental foodies out with his damn dancing, and trust me, Rupert dancing in broad daylight was really something. I mean it was nothing more than some serious quick-stepping to the beat of scary kids scaring kids on his ipod but then again, he looked like bloody trouble, dancing or well..not dancing. He was awoken rather rudely this morning by a pigeon. yes those dirty flea-infested rats of the sky. One landed on his face. Was Rupert impressed, well to say he screamed like a shit-scared little girl would point out how he felt about random vermin settling on his face whilst asleep. That was the last fecking time he left his window open all night. Then again he could of awoken to find a burglar sitting on his face, which would of been significantly more startling .Never the less, It must of taken about fifteen years and three loofers to disinfect his face. It was the grossest thing ever in the history of gross things. Although judging by his thriller-esque mood. he was obviously over the small pigeon based incident. And right now, he wanted cake, not just any cake. It was actually chocolate fudge cake and really, you hadn’t tasted chocolate fudge cake unless you got it from eh cafe he was currently in search of. Probably his favourite place in the whole entire world and where he really needed to stop buying fattening things form, he was going to get a pot-belly and then he'd be sorry fort hat last finger-biscuit wouldn't he!.
Dancing his way with a grin on his face and hop in his step, he dodged the various street-sellers and with all the grace of a lame panda. half-fell into the shop. Grin still plastered on his face as he very-nearly lost his balance on his lanky frame. “ Um, the normal please†he said to the cahier-lady who he believed was called Sylvia. Then he resumed peering with wide-eyes through the glass counter. He was such a child at times. Yes they did see Ru that much because before long he had a cappuccino and a door-stop slice of cake. He liked having these weird little traditions of his, and familiar things. You see he had become rather protective over them since well, since the crash. He liked normality. It made sense, wasn’t going to change or alter. Although he had no idea what eh would do if this place closed down, well eat healthier probably, but normality Ru tended to cling to.
Spinning to go and find a table, his jaw opened a little in surprise before morphing into something like a delighted grin. He had spotted parker; obviously. That tended to be the effect that parker had on the fairer boy. Being best friends and all, a lot of people tended to know the feeling although really, not everybody as secretly romancing their best friend were they now?. God it was above and beyond complicated, it was insanity. Ru liked this particular brand of hectic behaviour because it involved parker and quite often these days it involved them both naked and mr.pretendtobestraight, wasn’t complaining as it was. So he was in the closest, didn’t mean he couldn’t still have parker behind closed doors right? Because nothing scared Ru more than coming out. It absolutely positively terrified him.
“ dammit, I woke up with a pigeon on my face “ Rupert whined with a frown settling himself down in the seat across from parker. That twinkle of enthusiasm in his eyes as always. He completely forgot to say hello, but that as Rupert skipping to the more interesting parts of course. “ You look rather…hey didn’t I meet you in here like, wehn you were new here...“ He suddenly sprung, dropping his phrase mid sentence. He looked around him with sudden ignited interest. “Wow..thats creepy..well it’s not, but it kinda is in a kind of …seeing you here way. Oh I’ll shut up now.†All the while Ru had taken to drawing circles absent mindedly on parkers knee under the table, a quirky little habit he had picked up. Just because he really didn’t know how to do the whole boyfriend holding-hands thing and simply; he guessed he just wanted a bit of contact between them.

tripping eyes, and flooded lungs northern downpour sends its love Bored. It was probably the best word that could be used to describe how Parker was feeling at this moment at time. Now, he was the type of guy that would get home from school and sit on his bed three minutes later deciding that he was bored. Movement was something that was a huge part of him and when he wasn't moving around he was simply bored. Sure he fidgeting around at the table as he always did, but that wasn't enough movement to hold him. If he ever did actually end up sitting down and not being bored he was probably in some sort of a conversation with somebody. As of this moment his right fingers tapped on the table while the left gripped the cup that would randomly end up being pressed to his lips. At first the hot chocolate had been enough to make him jerk back in pain, but that seemed to have passed. Now it was just the right temperature to drink without fear of not being able to taste for the next week.
It was probably around the time that Parker was going to rise up and just continue wondering through the town that he heard something coming through the doorway. Now usually he ignored that sort of a thing, but it really did sound as though somebody had just been thrown into the cafe. It was with a small smile that he ran a hand through his hair shaking his head as Rupert came into the cafe. He shook his head a bit and looked at his drink. Parker didn't know anybody at all that was anything like Rupert, but he was fine with that because he wasn't sure he could handle more then one of him around. That wasn't to say that the boy annoyed him or anything like that. No, Rupert could never do that and never had. Plus, with two Ruperts running around Parker would end up having some sort of a mental breakdown from having to chase after them both so much.
His eyes had soon moved back to his drink and he put it to his lips once more. When he had put the cup down Rupert had taken the seat across from him. By this point he knew that a hello from Rupert was rare and didn't mind. They'd known each other long enough that it was just sort of customary to walk up and start a conversation with the other, unless of course they were already in a conversation. Walking up into a conversation like that gave the interrupted one the right to shove you into the mud. "A pigeon?" Parker asked raising an eyebrow trying to figure out how that even worked out. Sure there were pigeons around here, but he didn't know how one could end up on somebody's face in the morning. "I thought you went home last night? Did you end up like passing out in your driveway or something like that or what? 'Cause I have no idea how that's even possible," he said shuddering slightly at the thought. If he'd been the one to wake up with a pigeon on his face, he'd probably spend a good twenty-four hours scrubbing until all the skin was pretty much falling off of his face.
He had looked over at the counter for a moment trying to decide if he wanted to get something to eat, Rupert's food was looking pretty good right about now, when the other said something about them meeting here. "Huh?" he asked looking around for a moment before his eyes went wide. The two had come here together a few times before or planned on meeting before, but times when they'd end up just running into each other really never seemed to come. "Rup, think we're in some sort of time warp?" he asked looking back at the other male for a moment. No, he really didnt' believe they were in a time warp, but it was a sick idea. Parker didn't want to redo the past couple years of his life because he basically loved how things were going now and when he'd first arrived here freshman year he never believed that his life would go like this.
He could feel the other's finger on the knee of his jeans and he didn't mind it at all. It was alway s nice to be close to the male these days. Ever since that one night that they'd first been together it was really something he'd grown to almost crave. Just being near the other boy made him happier then it once had. "You know, it's strange. I'm not really sure, but I have a feeling I should be mowing the lawn right about now," he said with a small laugh as he thought about the conversation with is grandmother not long ago. She'd only said that it was something he could be doing instead of being inside, but he'd never directly been told to go mow the lawn right this minute. "But I don't know. My grandma is speaking in riddles again," he said shaking his head. If anybody understood Parker's relationship with his grandmother it was Rupert. The boy had witnessed the women telling Parker to clean up the mess he'd left in the living room, a cup of milk he planned on getting back to as soon as he finished grabbing something from his room, a million times over. Sometimes it seemed like the women had moved to heckling Rupert about things these days.

i can keep a secret if you can keep me guessing, the flavor of your lips is enough to keep me pressing.
There was nothing quite like Parker Lawrence and a good slice of cake to make the day awesome. Although really the cake wasn't needed. Parker was the salt to ruperts pepper, the PVC to his stripper. You get the picture. They were closer than spandex on an elephant. Not that elephants were inclined in anyway to donning the skin-tight material. You would think that being somewhat lusting over each other behind close -ahem- closet doors would make things complicated, really Rupert wasn't having that many complications. Then again Rupert did find it hard to confine himself to being confused or perplexed. He was honestly quite intelligent; in a negligent kind of way. He had it all figured out right; he would carry on as they were until it all started going downhill. good plan? Not really but he was more concerned right now with his best friend and all the stuff slowly filling in the gaps in between.
" Right.." he said pausing to gather his thought. that pause meant that parker was about to be treated to a long-winded Rupert explanation. They really were the cats meow when it came to explaining things because Rupert would and could go into unnecessary detail with all his hyper-active hand movements and animated ways. ".. well i was like 66% sure i had locked my window last night...66% meaning i had no actual idea...then i was pretty sure I felt a draft in the night..because well you know i sleep in the..; . " pausing before revealing his naked sleeping habits to a whole cafe " and then i woke up ...with a fine example of vermin on my face" He said ending in his huffy dont-like-it-ever-so-british voice with his big round blue puppy-dog eyes. " I swear other people leave their windows open and nothing pigeon-related happens. " he said carefully considering launching into a full scale rant at the whole damned bird-race and god knows where it had been. However all he found himself doing was smiling earnestly at parker like a speechless idiot; like Ru as [prone after big bursts of speech.
Ok a time warp would of involved a significantly younger Ru being a brash bitch and calling a significant more lost-looking parker over. Still it was rather deja voux -inducing , crap like this. A time warp would be off the fecking hook, then again he would of gone back to before sleeping with parker and if that never happened. Well things wouldn't be quite as strikingly great as they were turning out now. " can't be....i was never this sexy when i met you;" he said striking hest over-done tome cruise smile and laughing at his own stupidity. " although it would be like back to the future; i could be the mcfly dude and your could be the hairy professor. " he taking a bite of the cake and savouring his sugar fix. He had clocked parker eyeing up the cake and the counter " Dude , you touch my food and i'll take you down man" he said trying and failing ot be threatening. Shaking a fist at the dark haired boy across from him and suppressing a giveaway smirk.
See Rupert did have his brave moments and when he was 100% sure there was nobody to leap in and scream some kind of abuse at him he did try to act less prude about his affection for Parker. making a point of it by finding a hold on his hand at that moment without even thinking about it on the table top. Rupert tended surprise himself like that. Although a moment he was just staring at his hand like it was something new and extremely odd before continuing on his through pattern. " har, i haven't even touched a lawnmower since...god knows when, poor you" he teased smirking a little and still feeling a little spooked by the hold he had on Parkers hand. He had that subconscious fear people were going to stare; but he still didn't want to let go. " You should come crash at my dorm, and I’ll throw in a bottle of whisky and there no chores " That would be the awesomest. Although eh couldn't guarantee them living in one area wouldn't end in the apocalypse or at least some kind of major catastrophe. " Besides i think your gradma hates me " Well he was sure since parker took home and introduced the weird smiley caramel-haired boy. With his tight jeans and tighter tee-shirt she could see bad-influence printed all over him. Hey he wasn't one to argue with that.

tripping eyes, and flooded lungs northern downpour sends its love Only Rupert had the luck to have a pigeon land on his face when he was safe in his own bed. Perhaps it was a little bit strange that Parker wasn't completely shocked to hear that it had simply been a case of a pigeon taking refugee inside somebody's home, but he just shook his head a little bit grinning. A small laugh left his lips as he simply pictured it. There had been no need for Rupert to finish his comment about the way that he slept. Parker knew full well how the other boy slept. He could still remember the first time he'd stayed over the boy's place. He'd stripped to his boxers and turned around to find Rupert was pulling everything off. That was back when Parker was still figuring out his sexuality issues, he still hadn't figured them all out, and ended up blushing brighter then he thought his skin could ever become. Thinking back it wasn't that out of the ordinary, but it had mostly just caught him completely off guard.
"You know the only reason you got a pigeon on you is because it's you. You're just a lucky sort of guy," he said with a wide grin as he took another sip of his drink. During the time that the other spoke he had prepared for a speech that would last a good ten minutes or so. There had been a few rants that lasted longer then that here and there and Parker had learned to simply sit there and listen all he could. Most of the time they were actually rather interesting to hear, but there were times that Parker found he simply didn't care. Those days didn't end up coming all that often, but that didn't mean that they didn't exist. There really was always going to be one or two things that you don't love about the person that you're talking with. When the other stopped simply by saying that this never happened to other people he simply nodded a little bit letting a small smile move over his face as he poked at his cup.
Of course he realized that this wasn't perfect for a time warp. He really wouldn't want to go back in time, he remembered looking rather dorky when he first started living here. His hair had just been cut and it looked rather silly and well, he was much scrawnier then he was right now, not that he was really all that buff now. "True true," he said with a little bit of a smile as he looked at the male for a short moment grinning. "You're much sexier now," he said nodding. While to somebody listening it might have sounded a little bit on the sarcastic side of things, but he had meant it in a way. Rupert had looked fine back then, but well, now he was just amazing. That might have had something more to do with the recent feelings more then the way the boy actually looked, but either way it was how Parker felt. A pout formed over his face when the other told him he couldn't have any of his cake. Well, it was rather apparent that his eying of the cake had been noticed. 'You're such a mean boy," he said pouting, and when this boy pouted it was noticeable. No, he wasn't really sad about it or anything like that, if he really wanted he could just go buy himself some better cake to rub in Rupert's face.
When he was considering standing up though, he felt the other's skin against his own. From the counter his eyes moved to the other male before falling on the hand that had taken hold of his own. This was something that he really hadn't expected at all. He was perfectly fine that they weren't the clingiest two in public and stuff, but the small forms of affection that sometimes passed by were always nice. There really was something that seemed completely calming about it. Along with that it gave him hope that perhaps one day they'd be able to be a couple without worrying about who was watching them. "I know, my grandma is losing her mind," he said shaking his head. He was actually surprised that she'd possibly trust him on the lawn mower, he tended to get easily distracted and there was a pretty good chance that he'd end up running into the house and well, that would probably end up with him on a plane to some boarding school an hour later.
When it came to hanging out with Rupert, going to his place was one of the better choices that he had. They always had fun even when it didn't end with them naked and pressed up against each other. "That sounds like a plan to me. I like the thought of not having to venture home," he sighed softly rubbing his fingers over the top of the other's hand gently for a moment as he took another sip of his drink. "And well, that bottle of whiskey might just seal the deal," he said smiling a little bit as he looked at the other male. He shrugged a bit at the final comment. "Ya, I'm pretty sure too. She hates most of my friends, except possibly Jay, but that might be because he's not well, you," he said with a small laugh looking at the male. While his grandmother would have preferred Parker had friends that were amazing at school and spent all their time quietly studying, she realized that wasn't about to happen. Rupert was too loud for her liking and had often returned Parker from a night out on the town rather intoxicated, plus there was a chance that she'd witnessed a goodbye kiss between them once or twice.

i can keep a secret if you can keep me guessing, the flavor of your lips is enough to keep me pressing.
He could probably assume that Parker would of found the ensuing little scenario of trying to catch the pigeon. Not least because apparently he had managed to get the most illusive sky-rat in the world stuck in his dorm room. He guessed that parker would also enjoy the fact he was starkers. Something that Rupert did tend to be. Being quite comfortable with nakedness on the whole. Although parker was the only person who had ever made Ru blush from nudity. Mostly because it was parker and well. Rupert was pretty convinced that he had to be straight then. That believe had so totally failed. Not that he ever admitted it the blinding hypocrite he was. Yeah you could kinda of say that parker took Ru's on off sexuality issues and made them rather more urgent. Besides the fact hat Ru was actually staying faithful which was a revelation within itself.
" You parker, are just jealous of my animal magnetism " he added with a grin and poking parker in the shoulder. " You totally wish pigeons got the hot’s for you too " well who didn't want some small-bird-shaped admirers. ok Rupert sure as hell didn't but he could imagine Parker with a variety of feathered friends. It as a rather weird scene really. Weird enough to have Rupert staring quizzically into space for a few moments. Before he realised he wasn't talking and he snapped back into reality. Picking at the cake again with his free hand. He was silently counting calories. Not that calories mattered to him but it was something he used to do...well something eh had picked up from a girl he knew. It was addictive, really it was. He was estimating around ten billion judging by the amount of frosting. taking a mouthful he really didn't even care.
Well Ru had found Parker cute then and he found him even more ridiculously gorgeous now. Although he did prefer the older slightly less gangly version himself. Still he’d have him either way. he was just as awesome whatever. " You get sexier every day " That was a patented Rupert compliment. He was never one to be big on flattery and never wrote a sonnet about anybodies beautiful eyes or trash like that. Although if you knew him. you would know when he was in awe of you or when he was trying to be nice. He was a charmer at first impression but around those he knew the whole smooth operator thing was kind of useless. He chuckled heartily at parkers annoyance and want for the cake. he felt pushed to share with those big puppy-dogs eyeing him and his confectionary across the table. He was hard pressed to resist when parker put his face on without even realising it.
He was startled to find that whilst staring at his own hand in disbelief, looking to Parker suddenly he found his friend fixated on the interweaved fingers as if they were something new and bizarre. It was like a weird visual triangle that neither could break out of. He knew why Park was so surprised. It was the exact same reason Ru as surprised. neither expected Rupert to do that. I mean it was Rupert they ere talking about. It was moment like these when the slightest things intrigued them both, that made him feel guilty for forcing their relationship into the closest because he was so afraid of being himself. The thought of being out there and open as so tempting. He wished he could be a couple with parker. Wished he could not care about who might know and see and what might happen if his Pandora’s box was opened. God he never wanted to act like he was ashamed of being with parker He was completely the opposite. He was so proud of it, but so shit scared that one slip out of the closet and it could all come tumbling down around him. Then he felt guilty, like he always did when he considered such topics. So he pushed the plate of cake across the table a little and nodding to the spare fork with a gracious smile "Want some then grumpy?" he offered. See even the most selfish little boys can learn to share. " yeah because it just screamed sanity when she was screaming at me the other day " he rolled his eyes, sarcasm hanging loosely off his words. What he was talking about was the incident of not using a coaster. he was honestly on the lout for one but Ru didn't think one cup of root beer made much difference. Instead he received a hail of abuse. It took several hours soothing from parker before eh could ever face to old bat again without becoming an emotional mess. Parkers grandmother was scary..end of.
Ruperts 'place' was awesome. It was pretty obvious he was a boy born to live away from home. His room as decorated in a varying array of band posters and just general picture’s every inch of wall space without band posters or crap attached was marker penned and signed by the various friend he had picked up. Most of the doodles of course belonging to him and Parker. It was a nice dorm room and it was ever so Rupert. Plus he was sure he had the comfiest bed in Chicago. parker could confirm that too as a matter of fact. " You shouldddd, though i think your grandma would actually skin me alive for 'leading you astray' " he guwaffed and listened to Park's next words. " Plus I’m pretty sure form those looks she gives me she had her suspicions we're like...you know " he trailed off, concentrated on how the slight moment of Parkers fingers over his own sent electric shocks up his spine. " Nice one, jack Daniels and i get myself the best roommate money...well whiskey can buy. " he said sounding quite impressed with himself. The impressiveness faded though as parker spoke again. " Aww come on, i try to be nice and she still thinks I’m the devil. " He pouted because sulking just seemed appropriate. As it was with all these electric shocks and all this business about holding hands he would of just adored to drag parker out of there and give a real reason why somebody should pray for their bad bad souls, but beside that he was as contented as ever in that weird little best friend bubble they had formed over the years.

tripping eyes, and flooded lungs northern downpour sends its love If you were to ask Parker how the two ever ended up being so close he really wouldn't ever be able to tell you that. He could remember the day that they met and how he thought that Rupert was going to beat him over the head with some sort of a pipe and well, they'd become friends from there. It was probably a gradual sort of process like everything seemed to be. They spent time together and were soon closer to each other then other friends. Parker wouldn't take any of it back because well, he was sure that there was so much more to this friendship then he once believed there was going to be. Sure he knew they'd be best friends forever when they first started the band, but things had progressed from there. From when he first started to get feelings for the male all the way up to this point as he was hearing the boy saying he got sexier everyday.
It wasn't a comment he'd never heard the boy say and while he liked to believe he was the only one that ever heard it, he knew that not to be completely true. Still, when he heard it from the other's lips he smiled a bit like he was the only lucky person that ever got to hear those words from the boy's lips. "Then I can't wait until I'm ninety years old. Nobody will be able to take their hands off of me and my liver spot covered body. It'll be hot," he said nodding a bit as he pushed his lips out in a way that he just did whenever he nodded. It was just one of those things that Parker tended to do and nobody was going to stop him from doing those things because well, he'd probably forget that he was supposed to be not doing that. "You'll be sexy then too. We'll be the studs of the neighborhood. And we'll still be in the most amazing band in the world too and we'll be on the stage every night and bringing all the ladies back to the bus too, except we'll have to be done with them by eight o'clock so that I can take my arthritis pills and go to sleep. Oh, and we'll have to sleep with the windows opened too. I have the feeling I'll be one of those old men that fart in their sleep." Yes, leave it to Parker to come up with all of that information out of nowhere. He really was quiet a catch now wasn't he? With his talk of him being all old and nasty. Still, at least he didn't hide what he knew to be the truth.
His eyes moved over the other's face for a moment as he dropped the pout and smiled a bit, but that was because moments before Rupert had agreed to share. It was time like this that Parker really wanted to reach out and hug the boy, but if he tried to do that now there was a good chance that he'd end up getting cake on his shirt and well, he was sure that it wouldn't end good for either of them that way. "You're the best. I'm going to steal cookies from the cookie jar for you one day." No matter how scary Lucy could be, one thing was for sure and that was that she was one of the most amazing bakers that Parker had ever known. The only problem was that she seemed to know how many cookies she baked and would keep track worried that Parker was going to end up being diabetic or something like that if he ate too many cookies. 'I'll risk the talk about becoming a diabetic and sticking needles in my arm just for you. And you know what, i might even give you something else, but I really don't know right now," he said taking the fork and taking a piece of the cake. He put the piece in his mouth and grinned as he slid it back towards the other male. Just as good as he believe it was going to be.
Just thinking about the other day made Parker laugh a little bit. While it was happening it really hadn't been all that fun, but to think that such a tiny women had made Rupert act as he had was enough to make him grin a little bit. It really was scary when you didn't abide by her rules. Of course if it had been any of Parker's other friends she would have just reminded them, but Rupert was over a few times a week and well, he'd become pretty much a part of Parker since he was always with Parker when she saw him. It seemed like she looked upon the boy as one of those kids that it was okay to yell at. She sort of looked upon him as vermin and it just saddened Parker really. He hated to know that somebody disliked Rupert that much and he hated to think that she made him seem as freaked out as he'd been the other day. By now Parker was used to it, but for Rupert who was living in a dorm, it was probably something completely new to have an old lady yelling at him. "Ya, that was really scary. She scares me more and more each day."
He didn't even want to begin to think about the women knowing what was going on with Rupert and him. He never wanted to have a conversation about his sexuality with his grandmother of all people. The only person other then Rup that he'd ever talked to about it was Jay and well, he was also the only person Parker had hinted that something was going on between the two with them being more then friends. He knew that he could trust Jay though so it was all okay. "I don't even want to think about her knowing," he sighed shaking his head a bit. "I dont' want to talk to her about it ever and well, whatever, she can just get over it because its not her business," he shrugged a little bit. Of course he was now just trying to think about not going back home. He was picturing staying with Rupert forever, though he wasn't sure it would be the safest choice ever. They'd probably end up blowing something up or they'd end up making too much noise and cause somebody to break in to kill them when they were doing the dirty.
A small laugh left his lips. "Wow, I'm really easy aren't I?" he asked shaking his head. "Just tempt me with a little bit of alcohol and you can get me to do most anything. Well, I'll tell you something Mr. Savage, Parker Lawrence will not be bought that easily. You need to throw in a sharpie too." He grinned a bit at this. He knew Rupert had a million sharpies and he had a bunch as well. They had used a good chunk of them on the boy's walls. There were millions of memories on those walls, it really was a bit insane just how many there were. The only fear was that eventually they'd run out of room and have to find a new place to draw. Perhaps the ceiling. He took a long sip of his drink and smiled. "You are the devil," he said with a small grin as he watched him.

i can keep a secret if you can keep me guessing, the flavor of your lips is enough to keep me pressing.
Rupert didn't tend to go to people, he preferred people coming to him, being the lazy sod he was. However he didn't really know what compelled him to call the younger ganglier and still cut-as-hell Parker over that day. It really wasn't like him but hey, he guessed he didn't want a guy like that just walking on by. It was the catalyst for the best, best friendship he had ever had. He guessed that if he hadn't called out they might of ended up friends anyway. Still not as ridiculously close as they were now. God knows whether Rupert would of ended up with all of these emotions for Park he couldn't explain that thrilled him to pieces and scared him to death. It was like a big what if question. Luckily it was only a question. He had no idea what eh would do without his Parker there keeping him passionately insane. They were one hell of a pair that’s for sure.
Old people scared Rupert. The idea of getting old scared him shitless. probably because right now at eighteen he felt invincible like all eighteen year old boys with lives did. " I’ll have to get one of those old-man scooters to go cruisin for the ladiesss" he said laughing like a drain with all the self-styled ru and parker old-man images. " We'd have solid gold false hips man, we'd be the pimps. Ew and dude I’d buy a whole new bus if you can't control your flatulence. " Rupert eyed him with suspicion because he didn't know quite what else to do with his face. " we'll probably be in jail by then, for indecent exposure by then though " He grinned slyly Guaranteed one of these days somebody would stumble in on him and park naked. Whether they were doing the dirty or just nude gardening as you xD.
" I know I am, and oh-my-gee cookies! " his eyes went wide as saucers and sparkled in that slivery blue way that they did. He knew the risks involved in stealing from said cookie jar. He had been witness to the diabetic lecture; whilst hiding in the cupboard in parker’s house so that his Nan didn't feel inclined to murder Rupert. Those damn cookies were goood, beyond belief. Hence why Parker kept getting the wrap for stealing them for his best friend who was slowly becoming addicted. " If' anybody gets diabetes it'll be me and my cake-scoffing. " he said with a grin. Ry was terribly unhealthy in his eating habits. It was a wonder he wasn't fatter than he was. Maybe it was down to killing himself on stage ever so often, maybe it was more down to one bitch of a metabolism. Either way he was lucky. " I know what you can give me " he said smirking like an innuendo filled loser and eyeing parker whilst running over Parkers fingers with his own, absent mindedly.
" Don't you laugh i think I have emotional scars from your grandmother," he added although grinning despite himself. He couldn't blame her, throughout Rupert’s history he always seemed to get classed as the bad influence in somebody’s lives, the weak link. That one who will corrupt and conquer minds. Really he was just a boy who liked to party. How unfair were all these stereotypes. Although eh couldn't say if it was the other way round ,and his mom actually got to meet parker his mother wouldn’t accept park as an outstanding individual. He was outstanding and amazing and about twenty times more of a upstanding citizen than Ru. Still in the light of her son getting everything wrong those years ago, she had started to believe that he could do nothing wrong. He guessed she wouldn’t believe that he was a sinner. Which was rather ironic considering parker was by far the better behaved. Although he had to say he doubted his mother had the ability to reduce a grown man to tears like Parks grandmother. She was the darth Vader of the grown-up world to Rupert. Her and the principal of their school.
He really wasn't keen on Parkers grandma getting the details either. "if she knew the details...she'd probably start chasing me out of your house with a broom" he laughed lightly then looked a little frightened as if expecting her to pounce in now and beta him black and blue with a broom handle. He could imagine taking Park home to his parents. he knee his mother would convince herself it was 'just a side effect of the medicine' and patiently go and wait for her sanity to come back. Rupert wasn't sure he could ever do that. That was coming out to the most personal degree and he knew deep down his family wouldn't except it. Not the straight-laced Cambridge born brood. No. That pretty much hurt and that was what was scaring him into his own personal closet. " It would be pretty amusing if she walked in on us.." he had that smirk again. That smirk which always meant trouble or Rupert brewing thought. Or more typically meant both in conjunction with each other. He was pretty sure is she was to venture in at the wrong moment she would probably have three heart attacks. One of them being just because Rupert was involved.
" No i think your just easy for me, you cant resist my boyish charms and my alcohol ploys. Go on admit it, your totally addicted " he added loftily with a do-or-die smile like he got whilst talking crap. He listened to Parkers demands and put his free hand to his chin in what looked like over baked deep thought. " Fine, one bottle of jack Daniels, one sharpie, and you get to see me walk around naked. Now that's a deal" he got a few quizzical stares from the surrounding tables for announcing that and he dropped his gaze a little. Although to be frank. that was a helluva deal. Not that Rupert was naked that much really although he would go nude valiantly if it tempted Parker into dorm-life and away form his crazy ass grandma. Ok so they would probably make way too much noise and end up burning down student accommodation by accident, probably involving some kind of fondue, it would be awesome. He couldn't help but imagine not walking Parker all the way home at night and having him around even more often. It was enough to bring a smile to his face. He smirked at the next statement from Park's lips. " Who? me?" he said trying his best at innocence and failing. He was hardly the angel Gabriel. Parker of all people knew that.

tripping eyes, and flooded lungs northern downpour sends its love Just the image of the two of them even older then thirty was enough to make Parker laugh a little bit. Now, that didn't mean that he laughed in the face of getting older, but really he was sure that they were never going to change at all. They were going to be the two forty year old guys in the band that still run around wearing the clothes that they were wearing when they were twenty. Of course that would depend on what the style of that time was. Parker wasn't a trend follower, but if he found something he liked then he would go ahead and follow the crowd. Anyway, he could see them just being the creepiest old guys on the face of the planet. It sort of made him want to cling onto eighteen a little bit longer because the last thing he wanted to do was have to worry that he was going to end up being a creepy guy. Still, it was one of those things he'd embrace. Getting old was bound to happen unless you died young and really the idea of death freaked him out so much more then the idea of being old. Well, either way it would be fun growing up and Parker knew that so he was going to go with it. While stopping time would be the best thing for him to do, it isn't about to happen anytime soon and well, that didn't mean that he wasn't going to keep watching the news in case it did happen.
A small laugh left his lips as he thought about little old Rupert Savage riding around on an old man scooter. "Haha, that would be wicked," he said grinning a little bit. "I'll just be cheap and sit on a seat that I've attached to your scooter. Or we could drive a golf cart around. We'd be unstoppable! And pimpy!" he said wiggling around in his chair a little bit before flicking his head to the side a bit to try to get the hair out of his eyes. That was the only issue with his hair at this moment, it was a pain to keep out of his eyes, but cutting it short was not an option. If he cut it short then the true oddness of his hair coloring would be visible to all and well, he didn't want to deal with that. "OOh ya, well, then we'll be the coolest guys in jail," he said with a small shrug. Actually he was sure that they'd end up being killed in jail. Parker couldn't fight and he was sure that Rupert wouldn't be able to protect both of them against hardened criminals. Also, showering with lots of men did not exactly entice Parker. He would be fine if it was just Rupert, but well, a group shower just made him shiver a bit thinking of all the dirt or grime.
By this point Parker had probably heard the diabetic talk enough times that if he became a diabetic he'd be able to figure it all out without the doctor telling him about it. Then again he knew that he wasn't the only one that had eaten hundred of cookies over the past couple of years. Actually there's a really good chance that he'd only eaten about a third of them since Rupert was always the one telling him to steal some. One per day was fine, but usually they went for at least ten to split between them. Either way at this point Parker could easily just block out what she was saying and even if it was a good five minutes out of his day, he knew that it would be worth it in the end because it would make Rupert happy and these days that was becoming top priority in his mind. When the other said he had an idea of what Parker could give him the boy raised an eyebrow and grinned bashfully for a moment. "Haha. There's a really good possibility that you'll get something like that," he said his fingers still rubbing against the other's a bit.
Parker took a long sip of his drink finding that it seemed like he was almost running out of stuff to occupy his mouth with right now. If the need came he'd just have to go and get more. "She's a scary women and if you're emotionally scarred by her now, then imagine if she did, you know," he said shaking his head a little bit. That would be enough for Parker to never be able to look at her again. Not only was there a chance that it would kill her, but there was also a chance that she'd basically kill them. He could see her pulling out one of those meat pokers and chasing them out of the house and then seeing her just beating him with a dish rag the moment he came home to retrieve his things. Either that or he'd come home to find his parents standing there with their arms crossed. That would be enough to break him down. While he hated that they made him leave Vegas in the first place he was much happier staying here now that he'd settled him, taking him away from here was basically signing a death note for him. Well, that or saying that it was okay for him to sneak out and back here. "But I can see the broom thing happening. I'm thinking we should try to entice her to do it just to video tape it. We could make a music video to just that! It would be awesome!" Okay, so maybe more scary and probably end with Parker's phone being taken away or something like that, but it would be worth it because seeing his grandma run had to be funny.
Addicted to Rupert? Perhaps the boy was onto something. It wasn't like Parker found himself saying no to what the boy wanted to do ever. Even when they'd just been friends he let the other run the show for the most part. While he wasn't willing to sit around and watch Rupert take on everything, he still went along with the other's requests no matter how insane they sounded in his mind. "I don't know if it has anything to do with you. It might just be the alcohol," he joked smiling a the other male. "But you are pretty addictive. Though it's better then like a cocaine addiction. You know, I'd look scary with a cocaine addiction. I mean can you seriously imagine me looking any more like a skeleton," he said laughing a little bit as he looked down at himself as though to prove just how incredibly lanky he truly was. At the last comment he laughed a bit, but mostly because of the looks that Rupert ended up receiving it was enough to make him want to just pause the moment and take a pictures, too bad his camera was at home. "Well, that might have sealed the deal. Though something tells me that my grandma would hunt me down and pull me out in the middle of the night. But I think that I should stay over your place for a few days, and see if she freaks out when I come home," he said grinning a bit as he watched the male enjoying the idea already.
He finished his drink and rolled his eyes. "Yes you," he said poking the male in the nose across the table. He looked in his cup for a moment before shrugging and setting it on the table. "You're a good devil though, so it's okay. Plus, I doubt we'd get along as well as we do if you were an angel. haha. I can't even imagine it really."

do you know your unlike any other, you'll always be my thunder.
Old age was not something people like Rupert enjoyed thinking about. The prospect of old-lady condos and constant chess and liver spots gave him the shivers.Hey who knows, maybe he could preserve his good looks by pickling them with the sheer amount of booze. Or maybe it would just make him an even more munted specimen of the old man-ness. Ok here was the plan. whatever the fuck happened. He was sure as hell making sure Parker was there when they were odl and wrinkled and basically rock nd roll prunes. After all once you were a best bud of Rupert savage; you don't get rid of the bastard that easily. He was a persistently addictive lad. Really it wasn't even vain to say there was nobody quite like him, because that wasn't necessarily positive, however he had a feeling he was becoming devoted to being something better than what he already was. Or something more extreme than the original version. It was that which was the biggest danger to him; trying to do the more daring, be the most insane. He liked the danger though. He liked toying with it. Pushing it, he looked at Parker a moment and had the realization he might not even live that long, that scared Rupert and he squeezed parkers hand unconsciously for reassurance. Things like that ere not things eighteen year old minds take lightly.
If eh ever got one of those scooter’s he'd soup the bitch up. Put some exhausts on it, racing stripes, motorbike engine. He'd kill in it. Now scarp that. they'd kill in it. Parker his completely insane co-pilot. " Golf cart it is then, it'd have to be pink though....with dice, and a George foreman grill " you know those grills were actually built for students. Plug the bitch in and who needs a cooker?. Although admittedly he grilled absolutely every food item these days just for the hell of it. He laughed at the idea of them in jail. Did he really need to say it; " park; you know what they do to guys like us in jail" he sipped his coffee with a knowing smile. I mean they were hardly muscle bound thugs " but of course; I’d make you my bitch" Rupert couldn't contain the short laugh then. from behind the rim of his coffee cup. He looked on thoughtfully Parker flipped his hair out of his eyes " Parker Lawrence, go get a haircut man before that hair becomes a health hazard " Ru grinned, he adored Parkers hair in all it's shaggy highlighted glory, Ru could hardly talk. he was constantly doing the typical long-ish haired guys thing of messing with his fringe, he really didn't know what else to do with it. " Although the kind of shaggy thing is hot on you" he said reaching over and ruffling the other's hair with an angels smile creeping to his features.
Yeah if Rupert was diabetic he was actually screwed; because if Parker could recognise every symptom, he was in the dark, and he was the one scoffing 66% of the cookies. that sucked, bad. Ah well come on it wouldn't happen to him. He would do that thing when eh would pretend there was no risk and that he was invincible, that was always a great ay of going about things. He grinned at parker as the boy looked dot him with bashful eyes. He had the inspiring urge to really hug him close then but restrained himself for the sake of the people in the shop not looking at him like a weirdo once again and plus they really didn’t need to be coated in cake coffee and probably the tables condiments that it held. " well I meant you could buy me a transformers, I don’t know what your getting so excited about ". He raise his eyebrow with a smirk. He was 99.999% sure they were both on the same page. It was just that Rupert was born to make things confusing. that was the kind of man he was.
" Har, I think she’d probably call the police on me " he said with a snatch of laughter. That was an interesting prospect. the cops dragging a nude Rupert out to the car. Parker in tow completely dying with laughter.....yes very interesting. She probably would half be expecting it. Knowing parkers ran she probably had him pegged as that way after he appeared in their house in those dam tight skinnies and basically sat on or hugged Parker at every available opportunity. He would actually literally cry if they dragged Parker away back to Las Vegas. Or he would just get stressy to the point of bursting blood vessels. he'd have the same reaction if eh was forced back to Cambridge. they disturbed his life then they sure as well weren’t fucking this one up. Not when it was going so very right for once; well almost very right, " I'm like totally sure that that'd a video that NEVER been done before; would be awesome up to the point where she kills us and eats our souls " Actually that sounded pretty sick for a video ending; except well. they’d be dead which would be so tremendously great. " right here’s an idea; if' I pretend i have good grades. spice up the old British accent a bit and wore trousers that stay above my boxers; reckon she'd like me " he said with a grin. oh god she probably only accepted boys who combed their hair and had a god..damn...parting. That was wrong on so many levels.
parker may never so no to Rupert but honestly it worked the other way round. parker asked; rupert got. he hated to his best friend unhappy. Especially now that he constantly felt like a creeping guilt for not being out in the open with their relationship really. " How very dare you; i know for a fact you'd pick me over the sauce. " he raised an eyebrow back on cocky form. He laughed at parks crack-whor observations although his laughing fell a little short. You see Rupert never let Parker see him do coke. He wasn't so ht on it as he used to but he was pretty sure his best friend wasn't incredibly wise to it. He wasn't exactly hardcore addict but it would kill him to have Parker think less of him in any way. He opened his eyes wide though at the next statement . " You really would come live in my sharpie hovel with me for a few days ? " he looked convincingly like bambi out of that stupid Disney movie for a moment all wide eyes and dainty eyelashes. He was genuine excited by the idea. He was generally excited whenever an actual do-able idea cropped up between them.
He wrinkled his nose with a smile afters the poke from Parker" Good devil sounds very Rupert Savage " he added thoughtfully. A devil with good indentations. Hit the nail on the head did Parker right there " yeah what on earth would you do without your favourite bad influence." What exactly would Rupert do if he no longer had parker. Probably get ridiculously pissed and mope around until his Park was returned to him.
"Park lets get out of here!" he said dropping his hold on he others hand to pay for the both of them. He felt weirdly disconnected after he had put the money down and pushing his chair in after standing up to his full height. he tugged at the sleeve of Parkers top and whined " Comeeeee oonnn Paaaarkkkerrr" Where he intended them to go?. That was a mystery. eh just fancied wandering the district they were in. wandering it with parker. It was part and parcel of Rupert not actually being capable of sitting in one place and damn well staying there.

tripping eyes, and flooded lungs northern downpour sends its love This really was all too tempting sounding to Parker really. In his mind it was almost as though he wanted to be that old as soon as he possibly could be. That wasn't it though. It was really just the lure of being out there on his own with his best friend. Not listening to what anybody older had to say and really just doing what they wanted. If Parker could live that way without the worry that he was upsetting his family, then he would. That was all that was really holding him back. All that stopped him from moving out of his Nana's house and into Rupert's dorm as amazing as it sounded. He wondered what it would lead to. Would his grandma accept it? Or would it crush her? Would she send his family to get him or call the cops? It was his fear of what she could do that kept him around. That was the way that the female ran things, through fear. She had scared Parker enough that he hated the idea of defying her in a new way. Most of the rules he broke now where the ones he'd been breaking since he'd first moved in. He'd figured out that she wouldn't call anybody in then and knew she wouldn't start doing that now. It was doing new things that worried him though. For a boy that loved to try new things, breaking a new rule in his house didn't seem like a good idea at all.
He broke laws from time to time. It wasn't like he ran around drawing on public property or things like that, but he still shop lifted, drank, and well, did most anything else that a teenager of eighteen could do without worrying about getting in too much trouble. Rupert was right, they'd end up being attacked in jail and even if Parker was Rupert's bitch, he was sure Rupert would end up somebody else's bitch. In his mind it was bound to be some sort of am insane experience. Perhaps the two of them would end up just getting all of the criminals together in a circle and signing sons. It would be probably a million and one times better then the two of them being attacked by the guys twice their side. Heck, maybe they'd end up making new friends and would have people to protect them when they finally all got out of prison.
He was getting ready to reply to having a pink golf cart and a grill when the other commented about his hair. Perhaps Rupert was right, but he wasn't really sure it was long enough for him to be thinking about a hair cut quiet yet. Pouting a bit he looked at the male. "You just wish you looked this sexy with long hair." No, that was a lie, he knew that Rupert looked sexy with his hair well, just the way it is. He really couldn't remember time that he saw the boy with his hair all that short and well, he didn't plan on imagining it because well, he was just incredibly adorable the way he was now. "I should probably just trim the front," he sighed as he motioned to the section that got into his eyes. Either that or he'd find somebody to cut it for him. That was the other thing, hair cuts were so expensive these days. It was so much easier to just find a friend that wanted to do it and let them get their hands on his hair. Parker didn't care as long as he didn't end up looking like a butt munch.
His free hand tapped gently on the table. It wasn't some sort of a nervous habit that Parker had, he simply found that his fingers always had to move around in some way. Maybe it was a side effect from playing the guitar that he always had to move his fingers around. Either way it was just what Parker did and it was something that you either learned to live with when you were Parker's friend. The fingers continued to tap as he looked at the other male with a small smile on his face as he replied to the rather suggestive comments. "Transformer?" he asked shaking his head a little bit as he smiled watching the male. He knew that Rup was just kidding around about that part, but it wasn't like it was an idea that he couldn't have thought of on his own. Action figures were great things to get friends. Heck, Parker was a bit of a collector of toys like that. He still had a bunch of toys from when he was a little kid hanging around his room, particularly a toy truck that Jay had given him on one of their first play dates. "I guess I could get you one of those. But I doubt it's as much fun as my first idea," he said grinning widely at the male as he looked about the cafe really just because he wanted to see what else was around at this moment in time. He hadn't looked upon first entering and was just realizing that now. What if something had changed and he missed it? That would be horrible.
At the mention of his grandma calling the cops for walking in on them was what caught his attention. He smiled a bit shaking his head as a he smiled slightly at the thought. It really would be a site to be seen. There's be Rupert being dragged out of the house naked and Parker following after naked as well just laughing. Of course that was granted that his grandma hadn't ended up beating him to a pulp by that point or taken a hold of his manly parts. Just the thought of that would be enough to break up any sort of intimate or passionate situation for the boy. Trying to shake the thought from his head he ran his hand over his face leaving him with a disgusted look on his face. It wasn't until after that thought had passed that he realized that there would probably be more then that to ruin what he had here. His grandma would call in the parents and they'd have to make a ruling on which place was more dangerous for him to live. Then he'd fear that he was going to end up being away from Rupert by a few states or worse, a country. He knew where the other was from and he worried that the other would end up getting taken from him to be put back in Cambridge. If that happened though Parker would probably go on an adventure around to find the boy. Then he'd kidnap him and they'd go live in well, a city somewhere. There was always the choice of the English country, but the two were much more suited for the city in Parker's mind. It took the thought of Rupert with slicked back hair to stir him from his adventuring dreams. "Ewww. Well, she might like you, but I wouldn't," he said shaking his head a bit as he thought about it. "God please don't. Plus, I'd rather her not like my friends. It makes her want me out of the house more and it makes it so she doesn't ask me about them all the time. Unless it's to ask if you're still running free or something strange like that." He could remember a few conversations about whether or not Rupert was in jail or not. It was always amusing really.
When the other dropped his hand, Parker slowly stood up. He looked at the other for a short moment as he grabbed his cup. On the way out he dropped it into a garbage before pushing out into the fresh air once more. Wondering around seemed like a good idea to him because well, he liked it around here. Ever since he first visited this place he'd loved it far more then he did any other place around town, except possibly Rupert's dorm. Outside he did a spin with his arms in the air letting out a bit of a laugh as he turned to the male once more. "Weeee! I love the outside," he said letting his hands drop to his sides once more. His eyes were soon just ahead where he was wondering before he glanced over at Rupert. "So, I think I'll start staying over your place tonight," he said with a nod as he turned forwards once more. "But not until later. It's really too nice out today to not be here. We should sunbathe," he said laughing. 'I'm thinking of getting a glasses tan actually."

do you know your unlike any other, you'll always be my thunder.
His mother would have kittens if she knew what him and Parker were up to. His mother would have kittens if she knew any of the details of what her son was up to these days. His mind was currently as it was a swirl of parker, friends, parties and the next fix of cocaine. With plenty of laughs in between. However his parents would never understand such laughs. Young and reckless came with health risks and they tended to concentrate on that. So he never mentioned it. As far as they knew he was an a-straight student and he had never been naked in public. That was an occupational hazard of living without rules. Eventually somebody was going to want to restrain you. Luckily his parents had quiet a few miles to conquerer before they even attempted to restrain their unruly son. They would flip out if Parker ever came to live with him. especially because his mother was famous for jumping to amazing conclusions. He could always hide the other boy in a cupboard if they ever appeared for a visit. because he#'s rather them not recognize anything going on between the boys than be taken away from Parker. That would be a worst acse scenario for Rupert and his poor screwed up little heart.
Seriously if you were eighteen and hadn't broken some kind of law then Rupert would assume you a spineless; anti-social virgin. But that wa sjust rupert. Rupert who had pretty much broekn every petty law in the book; and was an expert at running away from police whenever they managed to catch him out. It was usually fro alchohol usually. He was rather scared of the prospect of being caught. The reprocutions and the whole back-to-cambridge-and grounded-for-the-rest-of-your-life thing stamped all over it like some demented trademark of getting things wrong. He often found himself in federal breakage with the one and only Parker Lawrence. Who knows maybe Park was a criminal mastermind in the making and he was influencing the poor sheep that Rupert was. Ok that was bullshit. Rupert was you full-fledged-hip-flasked over-sexed-juvenile delinquent at times. Luckily lately he was beginning to wonder if he should calm it a little. Although that was hardly his style
Right Ru with short hair basically looked...just so wrong. He had it cut short experimentally once; he wore a cap for six months until it was past his ears again. It was his pride an joy that crown of honey hair that swept into order upon his crown. He was a boy who had a love affair with hair straighteners. something he was infamously not ashamed of. He tilted his head a little and considered parker with short hair. Nahh he looked like perfection with his shaggy head of hair. He was awesome as ti was because Parker without his hair just wasn't exactly the same. Although Ru would probably be addicted to him either way. " don't you get me started on who has sexier hair Parker " he tutted with a earth-shakingly big grin. Just like Ru was prone. he reached and messed with parkers fringe a bit . half to be annoying and half for his own benefit. He then added thoughtfully " you should let me cut it " Now that was a scary proposition but Rupert had an idea that if he was completely sober and not in the slightest bit high then he could probably do a half decent job. besides who better to trust with you hair than you hair-obsessed best friend. He raised his eyebrows with a tiny peck of a pout as he silently asked his friend for permission to crack out the hairdressing scissors.
Rupert smirked. He had to watch that, that was about five smirks in two minutes. Very worrying. One of these days his face would just get set in a permanent smirk and he would be saved the bother of switching face expression. " Transformer....and hot sex then? " he said with a chuckle. Straight to the point there Mr.Savage. He was rather demanding when it came to what he wanted. That as something a lot of people couldn't adjust to. fact number 45; assertive people are scary. he did rather like the die of getting one of the toys , and having parker naked at some point that day. it was a tempting idea. he was rather obsessed with Transformers. He had seen the movie about twenty times. The first time was spent on the edge of the cinema seat. trying to contain himself from squealing in euphoria whenever he saw optimus prime. he was a full fledged nerd on that subject. So you can see the attraction of a brand new transformer action figure. he would be grinning for days on that. the shiny shiny toy was so much better than drugs for Callum. It gave him a high that very little could take away from him.
If Rupert and Parker were to go on the run, well it would definitely be a venture to make bonny and Clyde weep with envy. Rupert was pretty sure in the idea that if he was dragged back to Cambridge to wallow away his days with plastic friends who hated him. And a cardboard cut-out family who made no sense to him. parker would save him. He didn't knwo how, but he would. He was like Rupert superman. bound to turn up when the going got tough. Mostly because Rupert couldn't handle as much as he could like to think he could. Parker meant more to him than Parker would probably ever realize. It was these kind of thoughts that made Rupert look quizzically at his companion a moment. It was a deep-thought hat had hit him head-on in the face. although thankfully. Parker's protests at Rupert's clean-image plan took away the sting and he was smiling again. " Aw go on you know you fantasize about me in sock-braces" he said raising an eyebrow with the aforementioned smirk rising unchallenged to his fair features. " She wouldn't like me even if i became upstanding citizen of the year and completely straight edge. She'd find flaws, she always does." He rolled his eyes. She really was amazingly inept at finding critical problems with Rupert as a person. It was something he had got used to whilst knowing Parker; his gran's comments on how he needed a hair-cut and that boys like him should be locked up. " i think your grandma would be the happiest person alive if I got packed off to jail" he said with a sigh. Honestly he had visions of her fox-trotting around the house in glee because parker wouldn't have relations with that awful Savage boy.
He watched parker spin like some demented teenage-boy version of Julie Andrews. He had suspicions that the sound of music would totally be more awesome if somebody chucked Parker into lead. Although the whole nun-thing would be interesting...." your crazzy parkkk" he trilled. Jamming a and into one of his pockets and smiling lazily. Just getting dizzy watching his best friend. He then headed in park's direction once he was back standing still. Rupert had this habit of rocking on his heels lately and he boobed a bit in thought. Before Park pretty much read his mind. " i need a tan..baaaad, I'm like a ghosty" he said peering at his already fairly tanned arms When he had first arrived in the states he was scared he had inherited the pale-english-dude trait of never tanning. However he found that he bronzed after about five minutes of the beautiful beach sun, and was fine. However you could never do enough tanning. " We should both get glasses tans, we'd start a new trend. " Parker and Rupert, professional fad starters. especially for sunglasses-shaped sunburn. " we need....we need.....ice cream! " yes he had just eaten, and yes he was half-full-up already but Rupert had figured he may as well eat ridiculous amounts of calories whilst his metabolism could still cope. Then diet when he was old and clapped-out.
