Group Titles
Schools are all defined by the students and how they seem to go into their own little niche. San Fransisco University High School is no different. Be sure to read all the groups and then pick the right group for your character to be assigned to them once you've been accepted.
Athlete
Every school has them. The sporty group. The people who always are in a sport, all year long with dozens of medals, trophies and plaques all over their rooms to show what record they broke, the place the came in in the last event. If you're sporty than this is the obvious area for you to be lumped in.
Brain
You know that kid you always sit behind who gets an A+ on everything, takes more classes than is needed and you try to cheat off of during tests? Yeah, this is that person. They always seem to be in the AP classes, taking anything they can just to take it and can be good in one subject like math or science or be good in everything.
Musician
Oh the musicians. Always making music, talking about music, thinking about music. They pretty much eat, sleep and breathe the stuff. Some are part of the school band, marching band, like to get together on weekends and play in their parent's basement or even have record deals of their own. Music makes the world go 'round after all. Well, their world anyway.
Performer
Drama nerd is such a demeaning name, but it is a two word way to sum up the performers. They act on stage, in the halls, in class and anywhere else someone will be there to pay mind to them. Typically made up of class clowns, actors or just general 'hams' the performers never miss a chance to show off.
Undefinable
Are you one of those few people who manage to be well rounded or just, don't make an effort to get into anything at all. Undefinable is really the best way to describe anyone who does a bit of everything or a bit of nothing at all, though it isn't always limited to that. Some people just like to keep their life passions secret and would rather not be known as anything.
Visual
Like the arts? Like to make art? Visual is how you see life and how you make life be it by drawing, painting, sculpting or taking photos of everything you come across. Life would be far too boring and colourless without those lucky few with an eye for art. Besides, who else would you get to draw out your science project due tomorrow if you didn't know an artist?
Writer
Do you fancy yourself the next William Shakespeare or just like to write up reviews for the school's monthly news paper? Even if you like to write little stories in the margin of your notes then chances are, you're a writer at heart. Thanks to writers, there's always something to read about and talk about it with your friends later. Who knows, maybe one will write the next Harry Potter books.
Teacher
What's a school without teachers. Just a building full of bodies with nothing to do really. Whether you're the teacher everyone loves or the one everyone loves to hate, or maybe even that one teacher that is always getting a bit too into after school help sessions, teaching is your job and hopefully your passion.
Available positions:
Math, Science, English, Art (specify field for the first four), French, Spanish, Latin,
College Student
The lucky few who make it through high school and manage to get into college of course would be college students. There's no need to be young to go, all are welcomed and accepted to further their education be it for a profession or just because they're just looking to learn a little something more. Make sure you can pay the tuition though, colleges seem to frown upon students who don't pay the bills.
Citizen
Anyone who's not in school or a teacher and just works full-time or finds joy in being an unemployed free loader is considered a citizen. Hopefully though you aren't that crazy hobo that likes to scare all the children in the park after school and have a real place to call home.
