Whatever you decide to label Brooklyn as, it will always sum up into different. It's probably been that way since Brooklyn didn't make a female friend until she hit 5th grade. She would always hang out with the guys; Play football, hockey, lacrosse, and she learned to play the drums in 6th grade, putting her in the best position when she auditioned for her friends' band in 7th grade.
Brooklyn stands at a tall five feet and eight inches; she has full, light pink lips, and pale, yet stunning looking teal colored eyes. Many people believe that Brooklyn wears colored contacts, but if you look close enough, you will see that there is no slightly invisible rim around her pupils.
Brooklyn considers her black hair to be her best feature, and the black color is also her natural hair color. Her mother is constantly telling her that she kills it by using so much hair mascara and colored dye, but Brooklyn doesn’t really care what her mother says, she is in no position to judge anyway. She finds her nose to be a little big too big, but it does fill in the rest of her freckle free face. Brooklyn is what most people would call extremely pale, but she just doesn't tan very well, and /does/ have some color on her… you know, if you count the crazy eye shadow colors and blush she wears.
Brooklyn has a size B chest, and likes it like that, even though she's a bit self conscious about her toes for some reason, her mother assured her, even though they are a little bit long, they are just fine, and normal. Normal. Something Brooklyn’s clothing style isn't.
Brooklyn wears dark clothing, considering the fact that she works at Hot Topic, most of her clothes come from there. It’s either that or clothing you'd find at thrift shops. She mostly wears black with some other insanely bright color, and is always wearing the same small hot pink diamond studs in her second ear holes. Brooklyn likes hoodies and a lot of stripes, but she knows that she shouldn't really clash and outfits with different directions of the same or different shapes.
Brooklyn has her ears pierced twice in each ear lobe, and her right ear all the way up on the side is covered in piercings. There are about six piercings besides the ear lobe ones. They are sometimes all studs, or hoops, and then occasionally both. She is considering about getting a second tattoo, but doesn't know what yet. Her first tattoo is above her left breast. It is a
black heart that is slightly broken down the middle.

Overall Personality:
Liar, Liar, designer pants on fire.
Brooklyn is what you could call a compulsive liar. She is constantly making up things about her past that she thinks people will find interesting. The empty world that would have been her perfect childhood takes effect as well, when her lies all mold together to become the life she would want if she could start it over. Brooklyn has an issue with doing her homework, even though she likes to pass class, (its the paying attention bit that gets to her) and when her teachers ask her why she has no homework to turn in, a liar will pop out of her mouth faster than she can try and admit the truth. In her room, constantly hidden is a small black book with a pink flower on the front, in the book is all the lies Brooklyn has told to impress people, she figured it'd be better to save /more/ embarrassment by repeating a lie, so she decided to go and start writing them down.
Just give them something to talk about.
Having been an only child /and/ an "army brat", Brooklyn never really got the parental attention most children received at a young age, so she has to result into doing whatever she feels necessary just so people will notice her. Brooklyn has been arrested a couple of times, has experimented with drugs one or twice.
From here, to there, and everywhere.
As said before, because Brooklyn had to move a lot, she's gotten used to /not/ being one hundred percent settled into wherever she is staying. She works well in difficult conditions and can adapt to new environments easily. If you go and look in her dorm room closet, you will still see a few unpacked boxes; it makes you wonder if she is expecting a random move just like when she was younger.
If you don't pick me, at least don't forget me.
Anything to please, Brooklyn hates rejection from anybody and the negative words she receives always come back to bother her. They make her wonder about the situation and all of the possibilities of things she could've done to be accepted at that point, there are times when she'll just lie in bed one weekend day, watching the scene play in her head and imagining all the ways it could've gone differently.
She's a bit of a huge kiss ass.
All Brooklyn wants is acceptance from other people. She'll do what you tell her to and her actions (as said,) can and most usually will get the poor, naïve girl in trouble. She'd never rat out her friends though, which is usually how she stays on their good side...even though most of them probably secretly hate her. It's her lack of backbone which also gives Brooklyn the enemies she dislikes today. She has a hard time grasping the fact that she can't please everybody but since her parents never said they were proud of her, she assumes she needs to hear it from somewhere.
I love it when they try to get intimate.
Being bi-sexual was never an easy thing for Brooklyn to deal with, she always wanted to be the little girl with the perfect wedding, but obviously, her feelings towards girls can’t make that happen right now. She is still slightly confused when it comes to her sexuality, but Brooklyn has learned to try and accept the fact that she isn’t “perfect” like her parents wish she was.
The sun shines the brightest on those who deserve the light.
Brooklyn has a lot of built up hatred towards her parents because they never kept her in one place at one time. She feels the need to “forget” to call them or write them back. She “accidentally” deletes the constant emails they sent. She does love her parents, but resents them so much, one time; they actually believed she was dead because she didn’t reply to any calls or messages.
HISTORY
Birth place: Columbus, Ohio
Family: Alyssa Marie Daniels-Lexington-Mother, 43
Scott Bryant Lexington-Father, 53
Overall History: You don't usually hear stories like this....well, maybe the beginning, but this story's beginning has a bit of a twist to it. So, here they were two eighteen year old high school graduates in love. Alyssa Daniels and Scott Lexington followed each other through college, and then, two months after graduation, Scott proposed to Alyssa. There was a spring wedding and it would seem like the start of the perfect couple blooming when Scott announced that he was going to join the army exactly two months after they had gotten married. Did I mention that Alyssa was two weeks pregnant?
As the months went on, Alyssa's stomach became bigger and bigger, obviously. Finally, after nine months, and three different moves, in some hospital in Columbus, Ohio, Alyssa gave birth to their beautiful baby girl, Brooklyn Jennifer Lexington. But, about a week and a half later, the Lexington family had to pack up whatever they had unpacked and move once again. Little did young Brooklyn know, her whole life would be a crazy shuffle.
So, almost on cue, every year, once a year, Brooklyn ‘s family moved her around from place to place. She's one of the few children who could say her day care center was in Las Vegas, Nevada. But, as Brooklyn got older, she found it harder and harder to make friends again, and again. Especially since her parents moved her in the middle of the school year a lot.
Brooklyn went from being the new girl to the goth girl, then to the prep, to the athletic chick, the musician, the bookworm, the teacher's pet, the loner, the gossiper, the backstabber, the scene girl, the skateboarder, the troublemaker, and then the good girl. It was like an out of control carousel for Brooklyn, she even changed her name a few times. She was Tanya at age 12, Anna at age 13, and Casey at age 14. She'd dyed her hair a couple of times too. Brooklyn has had raven black hair, brown hair, and even once auburn hair. She was an independent child and her parents didn't seem to take much notice in what she did, unless she was arrested or something...which had happened once or twice during her trouble-making stage. Her parents had always trusted her to deal with filling out her school forms, so was able to be whoever she wanted to be and take whatever classes she felt she'd like. That meant she usually took the easy classes she could sleep through and still pass.
At the age of 15, Brooklyn had finally had enough, she demanded that her parents sent her off to a school of her choice. They agreed, having now realized how much Brooklyn had been through, I mean, it had taken them long enough. Brooklyn picked San Francisco University High school, which is where her Aunt lived. So, her parents arranged for her to stay with her Aunt Vivian until she was old enough for her own place. But, unknown to her parents, Brooklyn basically lived alone because Aunt Vivian was never there.
When Brooklyn arrived at SFUH, she saw how friendly everyone already was, most likely from previous years together, and she saw her past come rushing towards her in a quick speed and once again had to find where she belonged.
Now that Brooklyn is a young woman and sixteen years old, people began to ask her about her family who never came to visit. The girl became embarrassed of her parents and her father's job, she hated /not/ being normal. She's was upper middle-class and she hated her life, not her features, but everything she had become. So, it started up again, she constantly changed the facts about her life, just hoping that people would like her/continues to like her. She altered her life so many times, she actually keep a small journal in her dorm of what she's lied about, /just/ so she doesn't repeat it. Brooklyn desperately tries to impress people, no matter how many hours she has to work just so she can make the money to buy new clothes or accessories. Well, that was before she decided not to well, give a shit.
Every morning she wakes up and treads to the mirror. She stops and looks as the smudged make-up, reaching over to put out the cigarette that is still lit and burning. She’s stuck in a book called My Nightmares and the pages keep writing themselves.

Gucci was a great place to buy shoes. End of story. That was why Sarah, after having just got off her shift at Victoria's Secret, was in Gucci, looking for a new pair of shoes. She sat in the back of the store, on one of the comfy little benches, opening a small box and pulling out a pair of shoes, one of the workers stood by her side, hands clasped and waiting for a response from the blonde.
Sarah slipped on the shoes and stood up for a moment, looking down at them.
"I don't like them very much," she said, sitting back down and taking off the shoes, she placed them back into the box, closed it, and handed it to the worker, who scurried off to put the box back.
"What about these?" she questioned Sarah, holding up a shoe. Sarah shook her head, blowing a gum bubble.
"I hate those already," she responded as the worker moved over to another aisle. "I'm looking for something casual, yet, not... well, ugly."
Yes, Sarah was a very blunt person.
For the day, Sarah was wearing an orange Abercrombie tank underneath a black cropped jacket. On Sarah's lower half was a pair of True Religion Jeans, and her Burberry prorsum shoes sat upright next to her black patent Fendi bag. Her blonde hair was straightened and pulled back into a French braid, secured with an orange ponytail to match her tank-top. Sarah's phone began to ring and she pulled it out of it's pocket, flipping it open and looking at the text, she gave an eye roll and then placed it back. It was from her cousin, Vivian, who said that Sarah had a message on the house line from her job. She had to go in to work next Monday. Why didn't they just tell her that when she was there... oh, about fifteen minutes ago?
"Maybe it's just your outfit that doesn't match the shoes?" the clerk asked more than stated. Obviously, she was trying to /not/ be rude to Sarah, which could get her fired if Sarah complained. But, Sarah just raised a brow at the girl, who quickly widened her eyes.
"It is an adorable outfit though, especially the bag... we just got in a.... oh, that girl is already buy the last one."
Sarah stood up to look at who the clerk was referring to and saw Carmen Verdoy swiping her credit card at the register. She sat back down, turning her phone to silent and then looked at the clerk.
"Are you going to suggest more shoes or not?" she questioned quite harshly.
Ooh, quite a change of attitude you had there Sarah.[/blockquote]
